Creates a GeoJSON source descriptor for an Xweather Data API route.
This helper injects time placeholders and account credentials into query params, and forces format=geojson so the source can be consumed by MapsGL vector-style layers.
Parameters

API route segment inserted into geoJSONURLPathTemplate.
params
Additional query parameters merged with required defaults.
